The Organisation

Our Culture

Our culture has been demonstrated by our people; we walk the talk. Products and services the market receives on our behalf are coming from the mind that is committed to learn and grow – to create a healthy and happy society. For us, manufacturing is an opportunity to make this world a better place to learn and grow. We identify the right choice making ability early and foster a culture of excellence. This allows our employees (associates) to spread their wings and fulfill their potential every day. In turn, they become the backbones of our consistent growth and success. This synergy has made us a healthy workplace.

With us the bar is very high while performing and we are not in a hurry to compromise the process. We promote “Perfectness”, which is a way of life for all of us at PG Way. PG Way is our dream organization. Everyone here feels and experiences empowered and everyone here is heard out. We are looking for new ways to push the younger workforce to stay fit to create value and engage with their family.

The “PG Way” culture is what remains paramount in our mind, and we express it through our choices. This has been possible because we do everything with values. A lot of people often ask us what it takes to create an organization as wonderful as ours and all that we can think of is “Healthy Experience”. Our journey has been ignited by the collective effort of working in alliance of our associates that has been driven by value guided leadership. As we now board a new vehicle and new journey, we work with a renewed assurance of providing healthy customer experience by living values.

We listen to all, and all have unlimited opportunities to express their way with us, people enjoy the flat structure and absence of hierarchy with us. We groom, coach and mentor our associates as well-rounded “Perfectness”. Therefore, we let our associates try their hands at almost everything and this is what our associates enjoy the most. Our customers matter to us, and we do everything we can to make sure that they are connected and belonging.

What is visible with us is the created value of our choices, not the number of hours or resources put in. There is flexibility, a very open and approachable leadership team, as well as an environment that keeps challenging our thoughts. Everyone in PG Way is committed to create an organisational environment that is not just creating an organization that is not just a great workplace, but an inspiring (learning and growing). We each create experiences that make everyone feel energised, challenged and excited. What is core to our DNA is that we are never quite satisfied with non-value creating activities or the status quo.

For us “Perfectness” is synonymous with Value Creation, we are perfect value creators when we live empowerment, right decision making, early responsibility with accountability and giving space for all. We implement a people pointed scorecard for leadership; where the goal is related to people: how he / she manages engagement, how he nurtures people, how he looks at succession planning etc…We are creating inspiring leaders who give their heart, soul and passion into the workplace.

The empowerment that is practiced with people with us is tremendous. For example, if a customer has a problem any associate can come up with a solution and create a healthy experience. It is empowerment, up-skilling and transparency that keep people going with us on a long journey. We have growth opportunities to work across the organization and it is amazing. We consider our people to be our most important value creators; we consistently try to improve them. We have been successful in different areas, because of our choice to invest in people.

Our success mantra has been, consistently communicating our vision and developing in inspiring organization culture. Our vision and culture are taking care of people and transforming them, because happy people alone create healthy experiences for known and unknown customers. Customers will come back, and business will thrive when we create a healthy experience for our customers. Transforming people for bigger roles is the key to our success.

Our Organisation

There lived our Guruji with his disciples in the Gurukula. Devadutta, Somadutta, Gurudutta and Shivadutta are few senior disciples in the Gurukula. Guruji: a scholar and expert in making people learn, in his own way. His means of teaching has been unique; he has been teaching through narrating stories. People from nearby villages and far off countries used to send their children to his Gurukula. He established himself as an authority on matters of the Holy Scriptures. He is a highly looked upon and respected person.

One day, while in the Gurukula and teaching about the consequence of having the mind which is driven in all directions, as a river without her two banks, he picked up a story.

Once upon a time, there were four disciples in a Gurukula. Three were scholars and the fourth was average. Once Guruji decided, My learning is no good, if my disciples cannot use it to improve their life skills. So, he made a decision to send them on a mission.

Guruji sent them on this mission to earn their livelihood using their learning. Since the fourth disciple was not learned, the three thought of leaving him behind. They agreed, “What good is that fellow? His talents would not help in earning livelihood, let only three of us go.” After much pleading by the fourth one, they decided to take him thinking he will be useful in serving them!”

As decided, the four of them started traveling. As they were traveling through a jungle, they noticed the bones of a dead animal, lying on their way.

The first one said, “Let me start using my learning! I have bones of a dead animal in front of me. Let me test my talent and try to experiment what I have learnt!”
While the three disciples agreed, the fourth one did not like the idea. But his preference was ignored by the other three disciples, and they started holy rituals to prove who is more talented.

The first student collected the bones of the animal and using his learning, created a skeleton of the animal

The second one, to prove he is more talented, used his talent to cover the skeleton with flesh and skin.

As the lifeless animal looked like a lion and stood in front of them, the third student thought he was more intelligent among the lot and thus initiated the rituals to put life into the lion.

The fourth disciple was alarmed, “O disciples, if the lion comes to life, he will kill all of us! Please stop what you are doing!” All the three laughed at him, saying he was being unduly concerned and that they would certainly test their knowledge.

The three disciples ridiculed him, “After reaching so far, are we going to waste our knowledge?

You say so, because you are jealous of our knowledge!”

The fourth disciple knew there was no point in arguing with them. He pleaded, “Please give me a moment. I wish to go away before you make use of your knowledge.”
He ran away and started climbing up a big tree and could see from above the third disciple use his talent to put life into the lion.
As soon as the lion became lively, he noticed the three disciples, who were celebrating their successful implementation of their project “Lion making”.

The lion immediately pounced on them and killed them.
The fourth disciple could do nothing but wait till the lion had gone. Then, he climbed down the tree and returned to the Gurukula alone.
We end-up making Lion, when we are not a team of perfect value creators. When we are not value creators, by default we are “Lion Makers”. Choice is ours to be a value creator or a lion maker
